Life MIND BODY SPIRIT

You know life is so funny, we all have bad days, whether you are sad, depressed, stressed out or just plain down and out tired. I find the more I grow these days can turn into weeks, months and the next thing you know a year has gone by. The good ol’ US of A is in a real mess right now and a lot of people are really suffering so we need to be grateful for everything we have everyday. We also have a part in our own lives to make ourselves happy by staying positive, loving and kind to ourselves and one another.

I find that when I start to feel uncomfortable in my own skin that getting that walk, workout or my favorite hobby in is so important even when I DON’T WANT to. That my friends, is the trick, we must get up and do it and program ourselves into making that move everyday. The reason for this is we immediately start a subconscious habit, even through our mood, no matter how bad it is. The habit we are creating by getting up each day and doing it will automatically change your mind into a positive and you will feel better mentally and look better physically.
I say walk or swim or your hobby because they are usually free, so there is no excuse, and our MIND is the power behind the movement to change the mood. I spoke yesterday of snorkeling and walking the beach as I am in Florida, and just being in nature, outdoors is so magical and it too is free. I urge everyone, happy or whatever mood to do something like this daily and learn meditation.
Lululemon in Palm Beach Gardens and all over the country gives free YOGA classes every Sunday morning and that’s huge for a mood changer and you can be with people of a peaceful mind set, like the one you might be trying to achieve. I just went to a class at The Gardens Mall on Sunday morning and the teacher was amazing, the people at the class and the store managers were so lovely and it made my day.

The next time you are feeling down, or any of the above things I was speaking of remember MOVE THROUGH IT, we can not let a day, week or a month go by, life is too short and we ALL are too special.
YOGA teacher at Lululemon is Genevieve Rivera her # is 561.902.7544 she does private or group classes and let her know you found her on Brenda Swanson’s 45 and Fabulous blog site

My question to you my friends is, what do you do to keep yourself motivated? Please write me back and share your ideas with everyone.

Forever Beautiful and Staying that Way.

  1. Brenda you have it right on the money. Thanks so much for posting this and it is very true. Motivation is always brief…meaning we have to find ways to enhance and improve our mindset, our ambitions and our lives. Yes a good walk on the beach or something we can do to spend time with ourselves seem to help me as well as motivational stories and I even have songs that I love that inspire me to be the best that I can be. you are the best! xoxoxxo
